I will be presenting at Wordcamp LAX on September 6 at 2pm. My talk will be tentatively titled: “How Not To Get Sued As A Blogger”. That’s what I will be talking about: the things that can get you in legal hot water if you are running a blog or website. It will be tailored a little bit more to WordPress site owners, but the issues are broad enough that it will be relevant to anyone who has a blog or website.
Expect to hear about great stuff like copyright, user generated content, trademarks, defamation, and whatever else I think merits discussion. I hope to make it moderately funny with good anecdotes.
